Angelica Guidolin

Born and raised in Toronto, this self proclaimed “cat lady” has been surrounded by cats since the age of six, and she wouldn’t want it any other way! Her parents, also huge animal lovers, created a backyard sanctuary for neighborhood stray cats with heated enclousures, unlimited food, and lots of love.

Having left a 12 year career in retail in 2019, Angelica knew this was her chance to finally fulfill her lifelong dream of working in a veterinary clinic. Her friends an family often say they’ve never seen her happier since she joined the Yonge Street Animal Hospital family! She loves to learn about all aspects of animal care and gives love and cuddles to every patient who comes through our door.

When not at the clinic you’ll find her at home watching scary movies and historical documentaries with her 4 fur babies, Luke, Cloud, Mini, and Lady.

Madison Defazio

Madison was born in Markham, Ontario and grew up in Ottawa. She completed a year of Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa and then went straight into the workforce in order to decide what career she would like to pursue. After working in an emergency veterinary hospital she knew she wanted to pursue animal medicine long term and joined the team at Yonge Street Animal Hospital.

She has a Doberman Husky mix named Hunter, a cat named Cloud and a ball python named Hades. In her spare time she loves to spoil her pets and take hikes with Hunter.

Veterinary Assistant

Becca Mac Adam

Becca studied Child and Youth services at Brock University and followed her studies to Australia where she worked at a day care and later as an au-pair (nanny) for three boys. After 1 year abroad, she decided to pursue her first passion, animal which she has continued ever since.

She worked at a humane society in the Niagara region where she was able to assist and help with any sick and injured pets that came their way and she currently is the volunteer manager at the Etobicoke Human Society. It was at EHS where she was able to hone her cat skills and learn the amazing and diverse personalities they have.

She has my own feline fuzzball named Oscar who enjoys planning his daily “prison” escape from the house every morning. But don’t worry he always makes it home for snuggles and food (but let’s be honest, its for the food.)

She can’t wait to meet your furry friends
