Are you passionate about animals and considering a career in veterinary medicine? At Yonge Street Animal Hospital, we’re dedicated to mentoring the next generation of veterinary professionals by offering learning experiences in a dynamic clinical setting.
We provide limited volunteer positions for high school and university students, allowing motivated individuals to observe and actively participate in the daily operations of our hospital. In addition, we welcome high school co-op students and placements from veterinary technician and veterinary medicine programs.
Our commitment to global veterinary education extends beyond Canada - we proudly support students and professionals from international veterinary schools, offering valuable Canadian experience to individuals from countries such as Brazil, Germany, Scotland, Iran, India, Bulgaria, France and the West Indies.
At Yonge Street Animal Hospital, we believe that real-world experience is key to building a successful veterinary career. Our structured volunteer program ensures that each participant gains meaningful insights, practical skills, and industry knowledge in a supportive environment.
